A Warm, Contemporary Home for Everyday Mediterranean Living
Brunello by Kats undertook a complete visual and emotional reimagining of this private residence in Mirador Hills — not through structural replanning, but through a thoughtful renewal of finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor. The existing layout already offered a comfortable and functional logic, so the focus shifted entirely to creating a more cohesive, contemporary living environment tailored to the lifestyle of a young family. A key architectural intervention was the glazing of the terrace, seamlessly extending the interior into the outdoors and strengthening the home's connection to the surrounding Mediterranean landscape year-round.
A defining feature of the project was the extensive development of bespoke millwork and integrated storage — custom-designed cabinetry, TV zones, decorative panels, and shelving systems were all conceived as part of the architecture itself rather than standalone furniture pieces. Soft forms, natural textures, light neutral tones, and balanced accent elements complete an interior that feels modern yet timeless, visually effortless yet rich in tactile warmth — a calm, harmonious home filled with natural light and designed for the full rhythm of family life.
Mirador Hills is proof that you don't need to change a single wall to completely transform a home. With the right materials, light, and details, a space can be given an entirely new quality of life — warmer, more considered, and deeply suited to the family living within it.
